Outdoor Program Aide -- Underway Outdoor Adventure

Brian grew up in and around camps and the outdoors in his childhood.  His first job was at Camp Hope, a camp run through the summer in his hometown of Teutopolis for children with developmental disabilities. Boy Scouts has always been a big part of Brian’s life.  Brian attained the rank of Eagle, and later became involved at the council level as the Lodge Chief in the Order of the Arrow.  He also worked for four years at Rhodes France Scout Reservation summer camp as an assistant to the pool director. Brian joined the Touch of Nature staff as extra help for Underway Adventures in 2006 and became an Outdoor Program Aide in early 2008.  He is also a current student in the Recreation Department at SIUC.
