There are several ways you can contribute to Camp Little Giant!
Please contact us for more information on how you can help. Volunteers: All volunteers must have a background check on file before supervising campers. Volunteers provide a variety of skills, talents, and support to enhance the quality of our programs. Interns and Fieldwork Students: Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Management, Rehabilitation, Outdoor Recreation, and other students often fulfill scholastic requirements through involvement with Camp Little Giant. Staff: We hire energetic, dedicated, creative, and compassionate individuals during our summer season. This experience is not for the meek! It is hard work, but the rewards last a lifetime Donations: To keep costs to campers low, we accept equipment and financial donations from anyone willing to lend a hand! If you have something you feel would benefit our Camp Little Giant program, or would like to make a financial donation, please contact us! Camperships/Scholarships: We work hard to find funding for every adult and child who wishes to come to camp. Camperships and scholarships make it possible for many who would otherwise be unable to attend. The amount of scholarships given each year is dependent upon donations received throughout the year. If you would like to sponsor an individual to attend camp, please contact us. Checks may be made payable to SIU Foundation/Touch of Nature. Some choose to provide funding for someone in their community, while others donate to anyone who may need the support. We, and most certainly the campers, would appreciate any support you could give. Referrals: We are always looking for new campers and new programs! If you know someone you think may be interested, tell him or her about us. If you have any program ideas, let us know. We welcome change and growth! THE BOTTOM LINE: If you are interested in helping Camp Little Giant, there is ALWAYS a way. We appreciate any and all support, as your help makes our camp and the experience at Camp Little Giant even better! Thank you! |

In keeping with Dr. Freeberg's lifelong pursuit, a living memorial in the form of an endowed scholarship fund has been established to provide financial assistance for Camp Little Giant.
