Touch of Nature is host to numerous programs that take advantage of the surrounding area. These programs include Underway Adventures, which includes rock climbing, back packing, caving, and more. Spectrum Wilderness is another program which is an innovative, holistic approach to learning, designed for teens on the verge of serious trouble in school, at home, or in the community. The Therapeutic Recreation Program provides recreational opportunities to individuals experiencing physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities including but not limited to visual and hearing impairments, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, ADD/ADHD, autism, and traumatic brain injuries. The Environmental Education Program is one of the Midwest's leading facilitators of outdoor education, Touch of Nature Environmental Center offers exciting outdoor learning experiences in natural resource education, nature interpretation, and resource management. |

In keeping with Dr. Freeberg's lifelong pursuit, a living memorial in the form of an endowed scholarship fund has been established to provide financial assistance for Camp Little Giant.
